The hotel is located right in the city center, directly in the pedestrian zone. It is less than 100 meters from the Golden Roof, Innsbruck’s most famous landmark, built for Emperor Maximilian.

The Old Town is only accessible by car between 6:00 AM and 10:30 AM. During this time, you can conveniently load or unload luggage directly in front of the hotel. Afterwards, only taxis are allowed into the pedestrian zone. However, parking is very easy at the Altstadtgarage Innsbruck, about 400 meters from the hotel. The address is: Innrain 4, 6020 Innsbruck. A reservation is not required. Simply take a ticket on entry and bring it to the front desk. The discounted daily rate is paid directly at the hotel. It is important to know that the parking garage has no elevator and no electric charging stations.

There are three options just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The InnenSTADT Garage at Kaiserjägerstraße 1, offers 6 charging stations. It's about a nine-minute walk from the hotel. The Rathausgarage at Adolf-Pichler-Platz 1, offers three charging points. The parking garage can be reached in around five minutes my foot. In the Sparkasse-Hörtnagl-Tiefgarage at Wilhelm-Greil-Straße 10, there are four more electric charging stations. Walking time: about seven minutes. Payment is made on-site at each location.

About a five-minute walk from the hotel, the Rathausgarage at Adolf-Pichler-Platz 1 offers a suitable parking option for motorcycles. Payment is made on-site.

It is about a 20-minute walk from the main station to the Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz. If you don't want to walk that far,  you are happy to take the tram line 5 (included in the Innsbruck Card) to the Anichstraße/Rathausgalerien stop, from where it is about a 5-minute walk. A taxi is the most convenient option, as it can drop you off right at the hotel entrance in the pedestrian zone.

Bus line F (included in the Innsbruck Card) goes directly from the airport to the city center without any trasnfers. The trip takes about 15 minutes. From the nearest stop (Anichstraße/Rathausgalerien), it's about a 5-minute walk.

Rooms are ready for check-in from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, they must be vacated by 11:00 AM. A later check-out is possible by arrangement and for a fee. Our front desk team will be happy to assist you.

Our front desk is staffed 24 hours and is happy to fulfill (almost) all your wishes during your stay.

If you book at the Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz, you will always end up on the 6th floor: the bar, front desk and breakfast area - this is where the action is. And of course, we don't let anyone (unless they want to) walk up 6 floors. So yes, we have an elevator.

A regional breakfast buffet with a diverse selection is available daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Including numerous vegetarian and some vegan options. Gluten-free products are also available. If you require these, please let us know in advance. A lot of the products come from regional farms.

Oh yes: right at the top in the attic, the Blaue Brigitte awaits. The bar serves selected cocktail specialties, with or without alcohol. We love both, and there is a great selection of each.

Although we are an old, venerable building, high-speed Wi-Fi is of course available free of charge throughout the entire building.

You are welcome to safely store your luggage with us. Please just let our front desk team know. We have a secure locker system available.

Some of our rooms have a sofa bed that can be made up for an additional adult or two small children. There is a small fee for this service. Prior arrangement is essential:

Children 0-3 years: €40

Children 4-15 years: €60 plus €17 for breakfast

16 years and older: €75 plus €22 for breakfast

We provide baby cribs for our guests for €40. Just let us know in advance!

Pets are not permitted at the Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz. We ask for your understanding.

The hotel has an elevator, but not all rooms are wheelchair accessible. For special requirements, we recommend prior arrangement with the hotel. There are specially equipped rooms.

You can pay with Mastercard, Diners and Visa, or contactless with a debit card or Apple Pay. And of course, you can also pay the classic way, in cash.

We are very happy about the positive feedback we receive on various review platforms. If you would like to take a look, you can find an overview here.

Booking through our website guarantees the lowest price. (If this is ever not the case, please contact us so that an immediate correction can be made). As a welcome gesture, all guests receive a free welcome drink in the "Blaue Brigitte" attic bar. This is the perfect start to a stay at the Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz.
