48 new rooms

The chambers

The 48 new chambers in the Weisses Kreuz are spread out across 5 floors. The rooms are an explosion of colours splashed across the plucky interior design, and no two rooms are the same – that’s just part of the 1465 building’s charm.

BESENKAMMER

Unique and shocking.

All rooms have mattresses provided by “Betten Eberharter” from the Zillertal valley, organic cosmetics, smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, A/C, brand new toilets. Guests can also hire our Land Rover DEFENDER for free. Monocolour rooms with “chic-shock-baroque” furniture and design elements. All rooms were renovated in spring 2021.

Well we gotta tell you something: Our Medium are rooms are as new as they come. Well, as good as that, anyway. The blue, finely decorated bathrooms, for example, were not installed just yesterday. And that is why our Special Assessment Commission For All Things Rooms took away 0.5 points. But trust us, there is plenty of space – after all, the bathrooms are not prehistoric (XXXX)

All rooms were designed as double rooms, and yet no two rooms are alike. The timeless building’s original infrastructure had a say in that – we guess that’s how things were done in 1465. However, what truly makes us stand out from all the other timeless hotels in the heart of the city centre is that all the green rooms have a small patio, while the dark blue rooms have a small balcony you can pop out onto for a spot of fresh air. On top of that, there’s no real reception, and check-in takes place on the sixth floor at the Blaue Brigitte bar.

There are four “super suites” available: the hotel’s pride and joy. The “Mozart Suite” is an homage to when the child prodigy slept here; the “Golden Roof” boasts a breathtaking view across the actual Golden Roof; the “Super Patio” features a pocket of green right in the heart of Innsbruck’s historical city centre and the “Stuben Suite” is an unique mix between history and modernity.  Another special room is our amazing, tiny, spartan chamber, the “Besenkammer”. Of course, all the other double and twin rooms are up for grabs, too. What are you waiting for? Book now!

Please note, that our hotel is located in the pedestrian area. You can load and unload your luggage between 06:00 and 10:30 am. Afterwards only cabs are allowed to enter the pedestrian zone. However parking is available at a reduced rate of 15,00€ per day in the old town parking lot only a few minutes’ walk away from the hotel. The adress is: Innrain 4, 6020 Innsbruck. A reservation in advance is not necessary. You simply pull a ticket at the entrance and then come to us with it. The payment will be made in the hotel. Good to know: the parking garage does not have an elevator.

If the “old town parking lot“ is full, you can drive in the following nearby garages (around 20 € for 24h):
